► The City of Hartford Treasurer does NOT received information back from the county if Real Property Taxes are paid after the March 1st settlement date.
► For Personal Property Taxes, the City of Hartford Treasurer is responsible for collecting taxes after the settlement date.
► This search NEVER shows penalties or interest due on the taxes. For penalties or interest due on taxes, the inquirer must always call the City of Hartford Treasurer for Personal Property or the Van Buren County Treasurer for Real Property.


 

SUMMER 2007 TAX AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2007

 
     If you are looking for Summer 2007 tax amount due after the
September 30, 2007 due date - interest and penalty amounts have not been added to the base tax amount.  Please call City Hall at 269-621-2477 for the correct payment amount until March 1, 2008.
SUMMER & WINTER 2007 TAX AMOUNT AFTER MARCH 1, 2008

     If you are looking for Winter or Summer 2007 tax amount due after the
March 1, 2008 settlement date - interest and penalty amounts have not been added to the base tax amount.  Please call the Van Buren County Treasurer at 269-657-8228 for the correct tax amount due on real property taxes.  Call City Hall at 269-621-2477 for all personal property taxes
PREVIOUS YEARS TAX AMOUNT
    
     If you are looking for past years taxes (before 2007), the City of Hartford does not receive information about real property tax payments received after the settlement date.  If the taxes are not listed as paid, please call the Van Buren County Treasurer to see if the taxes have been paid after the settlement date.  For personal property taxes, please call City Hall at 269-621-2477 for the correct amount due.
